Mangalore, 05 September 2015: Mangalore south MLA J.R. Lobo performed guddali pooje for various project works worth Rs 2.30 crores. The projects include the main road bridge, drainage system and 360 meter long footpath construction at Kadri Kambla in City Municipality area.
Speaking to media reporters MLA said that, this project will be carried out with a grant of Rs 2.30 crores from the chief minister’s 2nd stage Rs 100 crore special grants. Already the tender processing is completed and the contract work will start immediately, which is expected to complete within 3 months.
The 360 meter long drainage system and footpath, 10 culverts and ducts, concrete road, minor bridge and retaining wall construction work is included in this project, said MLA J.R. Lobo. Besides this using premium F.A.R. funds the footpath in the city roads will be constructed very soon, he said.
On this occasion local Corporator Prakash Salian, opposition leader Sudhir Shetty, former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, Corporator Lancy Pinto, Rajanish, Latif and others were present.
